Preparation Phase: This process was tough for me. I am and have always been a shy person. I’d rather listen than talk and definitely not talk about myself, ever. I debated for weeks over the topic. I had trouble thinking of one specific event in my life that I would have enough images to go along with my story. I had wanted to choose a story about my grandmother but Carona Virus put a stop to my planned visit to my aunt's house to get some pictures that are of course not digital.

Incubation Phase: So change of course led me to browse my Facebook and google photos to gather some thoughts and photos.

Illumination Phase: I noticed all the pictures of my sister and I, I thought of the perfect idea. Having a twin is a unique experience about me. Besides deciding on what part of my life to talk about, the most frustrating part for me was the time limit. I kept getting caught up on the 6 minutes time limit. I kept thinking I don’t have six minutes of stories.

Once I had an idea I had to decide the format, I knew I wanted to include pictures and dialog. I wanted to use my sister to help record the dialog. I thought the conversation would be interesting but thanks to Carona Virus my plans for that didn’t work out as planned either. I had to change my script. Finally to get to the creative part of making the video. I used Adobe Spark for the first time, it was simple and easy. I really liked the program and found myself using it for other projects for work.

Verification Phase: . I was really pleased with the outcome of the video. I had doubts of its outcome. It was my birthday this week, so I decided to share the video with my sister and some family. I got some positive feedback.
